Steps

1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. 2. Place the bacon slices in the preheated skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes per side. 3. Meanwhile, form the hamburger patty, and season with salt and pepper. 4. Place the patty in the hot skillet next to the bacon, and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. 5. Butter one side of each bun and toast in the skillet. 6. Spread mayonnaise onto the bun’s unbuttered side. 7. Layer the lettuce, tomato, patty, and bacon slices. 8. Place the top of the bun on the burger and serve.
