Steps

1. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides. 2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and keep warm. 3. In the same skillet, add butter and sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. 4. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until softened and browned, about 5 minutes. 5. Pour in the heavy cream, stir to combine, and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. 6. Return the chicken to the pan to coat with the sauce. 7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
