1. Melt the butter in a bowl and let it cool slightly. 2. Add sugar to the melted butter and mix well. 3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth. 4. Sift the flour and baking powder, then fold into the wet mixture. 5. Add milk and mix to a smooth batter. 6. Heat a non-stick pan on low heat and grease lightly with butter. 7. Pour the batter into the pan and cover with a lid. 8. Cook on very low heat for 20-25 minutes until the cake is set and a toothpick comes out clean. 9. Remove from pan, let cool slightly, and serve.
