Pesto Chicken Pasta

Steps

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. 3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breast and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. 4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing. 5. In the same skillet, add the cooked pasta and pesto. Toss to combine and heat through. 6. Slice the chicken and serve it on top of the pasta. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
