Spicy Black Peas and Paneer Stir-Fry

This vibrant stir-fry features black peas cooked with flavorful spices and tender paneer for a hearty, protein-packed meal. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner, it's both nutritious and satisfying.

Steps

1. Drain and rinse the soaked black peas. In a pot, boil them in water until tender, about 20-25 minutes. 2. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter. 3. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. 4. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute. 5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft. 6. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well. 7. Add the boiled black peas and stir to combine with the spices. 8. Gently fold in the paneer cubes and cook for another 5 minutes. 9. Sprinkle garam masala over the top and mix well. 10. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
