Balkan Beef Ćevapi

Ćevapi are traditional Balkan grilled minced beef sausages, seasoned with simple spices and served with flatbread and fresh onions. This recipe offers an authentic taste of the Balkans in a quick and satisfying main dish.

Steps

1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, baking soda, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped onion. 2. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is well combined and slightly sticky. 3. Shape the mixture into small, finger-sized sausages about 7 cm long. 4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. 5. Cook the ćevapi for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until they are browned and cooked through. 6. Serve hot with flatbread and sliced raw onions on the side.
