Cheddar and Bacon Scrambled Egg Croissant

Steps

1. Slice the croissant in half horizontally. 2. Place the bottom half of the croissant on a flat plate and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly on it. 3. In a bowl, beat the eggs with salt and pepper. 4. Heat butter or oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. 5. Pour in the eggs and gently scramble until just set but still soft. 6. Layer the scrambled eggs over the cheddar on the croissant base. 7. Cook the bacon slices in the pan until crispy, then drain on paper towels. 8. Place the crispy bacon strips over the scrambled eggs. 9. Sprinkle half of the chopped chives over the bacon. 10. Close the croissant with the top half. 11. Sprinkle the remaining chives over the closed croissant. 12. Serve immediately while warm.
