Steps
1. Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and thyme.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Cook the chicken breast for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
5. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender and golden, about 5 minutes.
6. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the garlic butter mushroom sauce.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
